Hi my name is Jason. My topic for this blog is democracy. In the early republic there wasn't democracy in any recognizable form. The founding fathers didn't believe in democracy in the fullest way. Even though they wanted to be liberated from England they didn't want the people to run things entirely. This link further explains my reasoning for why the founding fathers didn't follow democracy. They believe that that democracy couldn't go for the long run. They wanted to protect minorities.
